Fleetwood Beach - Fylde Coast

Fleetwood Beach Community Soundbath

A local community gathering by the sea, held by Lucy and Mayan Retreats to create space for rest, sound, breath and connection on the Fylde Coast.

Mayan Retreats beach sound bath on the Fylde Coast
What happened

Sound, sea air and local community

The Fleetwood Beach community soundbath brought people together for a calming coastal pause with Mayan Retreats. The session was rooted in simple community wellbeing: space to arrive, breathe, listen and reset beside the sea.

Community soundbaths are different from a formal retreat. They are lighter, more local, and often shaped by the weather, the beach and the people who gather. Lucy holds them as an accessible way for people across Blackpool, Fleetwood and the Fylde Coast to experience sound healing in a welcoming setting.

What a community soundbath is

A grounded, beginner-friendly sound experience where people can rest, listen and reconnect in a shared space.

Why the beach matters

Fleetwood Beach gives the gathering a natural rhythm: sea air, open sky, coastal sound and a sense of spaciousness.

How to join the next one

Community sessions are announced through Mayan Retreats channels, alongside upcoming sound baths, floating soundbaths and retreats.

A Fleetwood wellbeing resource

What to expect from a Fleetwood community sound bath

Community sound baths are created to be approachable. You can come alone, you do not need to know how to meditate, and there is no pressure to speak or share. Lucy guides the arrival, explains the instruments and gives everyone time to become comfortable before the sound begins.

Beach sessions use the open sky, sea air and natural coastal rhythm as part of the experience. Indoor Fleetwood events offer a warmer, more predictable setting while keeping the same emphasis on slowing down and reconnecting.

Bring warm layers, water and something comfortable to sit or lie on when the gathering is outdoors. Because Fleetwood weather can change quickly, final community beach announcements are normally shared through Mayan Retreats social channels 24–48 hours beforehand.

Some gatherings are donation-based and others are ticketed. The live event cards below always show the current booking arrangements. For accessibility or suitability questions, email hello@mayanretreats.co.uk before travelling.

Beautiful experience on Fleetwood beach. The combination of the sunset, soundbath, drum and sea created such a calming and grounding atmosphere. I left feeling lighter, slept really well and genuinely felt like I'd had a reset. No pressure, just space to relax and be present. Lucy created such a warm, welcoming environment.

Been on two of the nature retreats in the Lake District, very welcoming environment and good energy leading to blissful moments, beautiful views, happy memories and great presence felt in the moment, so clear and at peace. Also been to a couple of the free public sound baths on the beach at Fleetwood which are nice for beginners, with lots of people in attendance which is great to see.
