What is a sauna and sea dip?

A sauna and sea dip combines heat, cold water, a guided rhythm and time to rest. You warm through in the sauna, choose whether to dip in the sea, then return to layers, breath and a steadier pace.

It is not a test of endurance. Mayan sessions are held with a safety-first, beginner-aware feel so you can take part in a way that respects your body.

Beginner friendly

First time in cold water? You can go slowly, dip briefly, stay shallow, or simply enjoy the sauna and community. The experience is guided, not forced.

What to expect

A calm coastal rhythm

Arrive and settle

You will be welcomed in, shown where to go, and given the shape of the session before it begins.

Sauna rounds

Move through the heat gently, with time to pause, hydrate and listen to your body.

Optional guided sea dip

Cold water is approached slowly. You can dip, paddle, watch, or skip it entirely.

Warm-up and rest

The close matters as much as the dip: layers, grounding, community and time to come back steadily.
