What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a restful experience where you lie down, close your eyes if you want to, and allow sound to move around you. Crystal bowls, gentle rhythm, voice and other soft sound textures can help the body slow down without needing to meditate in a formal way.

It is not about doing anything perfectly. You can simply arrive, get comfortable and let the session meet you where you are.

Truly amazing experience in Malaga.

Truly amazing experience in Malaga. Lucy and Emmy are so in tune with each other and the group. The family at Crystal Inn are just inspirational and you feel at home the moment you get there. Thank you for all you have done for me xx

What should I bring to a sound bath?
Wear comfortable clothes and bring water. For floor-based sessions, a mat, blanket, pillow and warm layers can help you settle. Each event page will list anything specific to that venue.
Do I need experience?
No. Mayan sound baths are beginner-friendly and Lucy will explain what to expect before the session begins.
What happens during a sound bath?
You are invited to lie down or rest comfortably while sound from instruments such as crystal bowls, voice, drum or other gentle textures is played around the room.
Are sound baths suitable for everyone?
Most people can enjoy a gentle sound bath, but if you are pregnant, have sound sensitivity, epilepsy, a serious heart condition or any concern about whether it is right for you, please check with Lucy before booking.
Where are Mayan sound baths held?
Sessions are usually connected to Blackpool, the Fylde Coast and Lancashire. Some events are held in specific local venues, on the coast, or as floating sound bath experiences. Always check the event page for the exact location.
What is a floating sound bath?
A floating sound bath is a sound experience held while you rest in warm water or on a float, depending on the venue. It is designed to feel weightless, calm and immersive.
